Privacy policy

1. Who we are

Attention Economy is a product of Provenance Talent, the trading name of Coordinated Chaos Pte Ltd, 56B Joo Chiat Place, Singapore. Reach us at hello@provenancetalent.com. We are the controller for the personal data described below.

2. What we collect

Account data: name, email address and authentication identifiers from our sign-in provider.

Workspace data: the persona briefs, niches, target markets, platforms and content you create, plus the social accounts and devices assigned to your workspace.

Billing data: prepaid credit top-ups, invoices and payment status from our payment provider. We never store full card numbers.

Usage data: logs of console actions, job runs and generation usage, kept to operate the service, charge usage against prepaid credit, enforce workspace limits and investigate problems.

Product analytics: which console pages and features are used, the type and outcome of jobs our servers run for your workspace, and errors, under pseudonymous identifiers. We do not send your email address, name, posts, captions, prompts or messages to our analytics provider.

3. How we use it

To provide and improve the service, to generate and post content you approve, to bill you, to keep accounts and devices healthy, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.

4. Data from Instagram, Facebook and TikTok

When you connect a social account to the platform, we receive from Meta (Instagram and Facebook) or TikTok, through their official APIs and only for the permissions you grant: the account’s profile (id, username, name, profile picture, follower counts); its posts and their insights (views, reach, likes, comments, shares, saves, watch time); comments on its posts; direct messages sent to it, and the public profile (name, username, picture) of the people who message or comment; for a linked Facebook Page, the Page’s id and name, its Business Manager, catalog products, upcoming events and branded-content permissions; and public information about other business accounts or hashtags you choose to look up.

We use this data only to run the account for you: to publish the posts you approve, show you how they perform, let you read and answer comments and messages, and manage branded content, product tags and partnership ads you set up. We do not sell it, use it for advertising outside the tools you operate, or share it with anyone except the processors below.

Access tokens are encrypted, can only be read by the service that posts for you, and are deleted when you disconnect the account, remove our app in Instagram, Facebook or TikTok, or ask us to delete your data. See how to ask at /data-deletion.

5. Processors and transfers

We rely on an authentication provider, a payments provider, cloud-device and proxy suppliers, AI model providers and an analytics provider (PostHog, Inc., which processes analytics data in the United States). Each processes data under contract and only for the purposes described here. Some are located outside your country; appropriate safeguards apply.

6. Retention and deletion

Workspace data is kept while your workspace is active, and after that until you ask us to delete it or we no longer need it.

Social account sign-ins and their tokens are deleted as soon as you disconnect an account, remove our app from Instagram, Facebook or TikTok, or send a data deletion request through Meta; the status of a Meta request can be checked at /data-deletion with the code Meta gives you. Anything else, including posts, comments and messages we stored, is deleted on request to hello@provenancetalent.com within 30 days.

Analytics events are kept for 12 months and session recordings of this site for 30 days, then deleted by our analytics provider. When you ask us to delete your data, we also delete the analytics linked to your account. Some events are recorded under your workspace’s identifier instead of a person’s: for example the outcome of a job our servers run. Deleting a person’s analytics does not remove these; they are deleted when the 12 months are up.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to certain processing. Email hello@provenancetalent.com to make a request; we respond within 30 days.

8. Analytics and cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for sign-in, security and remembering console preferences. No advertising cookies are set on the console or this site.

We use PostHog to measure how the site and console are used. We send it which pages are viewed, which features are used, and errors, linked to your account and workspace by an identifier, never your email address. On this site, PostHog works without cookies unless you choose to allow analytics cookies in the banner; if you allow them, it may also record anonymised sessions of your visit, with form inputs masked. Sessions are never recorded inside the console. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s stored data in your browser.

In the console, an owner or admin can turn analytics off for the whole workspace under Settings → Workspace → Analytics. While it is off, the console loads no analytics on that workspace’s pages, and our servers send no analytics about the workspace, such as the outcome of a job. On our servers the change can take up to a minute to apply everywhere. Turning analytics off does not delete analytics already recorded.
